This past Saturday, I went to my first crawling competition. It lasted from 9am to 2pm. It was really fun. I now have the best farmer's tan that I have had in years, and I want a jeep even more now.

Edit: Rules for the competition.

The jeeps were divided into different classes based on tire size. The judges marked out three different courses with the cones that everyone had to go drive. Each course had different time limits based on what class your jeep was in. The time in which you completed the course was used as a tie breaker. The person with the lowest score for each course won that course. There was also an over all winner for the day. If you got over 40 points or ran out of time you lost for that course. You got a penalty of 10 points for touching a cone or not going over an obstacle with both front and rear tires, such as a large rock. You got a penalty of 1 point for every time you backed up to try an obstacle again. Each course also had a bonus area that would subtract 10 points off of your score, but if you hit a cone trying to complete the bonus area you would not receive the bonus of -10. The guy who won for the day had a score of -16.

binrock, awesome
