All three of the Georgia bands that came up to play on Saturday night were fun.
Me & Him call it Us sounded very similar to Hella. They played as a 2-piece, since their other guitarist was grounded for getting a tattoo.
Coulier also played very loudly. They either played 1 or 2 songs. I can not decide if that point of demacation during their set was a dramatic pause or a break between songs. I have decided to endue Coulier with the category of southern prog. rock metal core. It was actually really good--long instrumental songs that were mainly prog/metal sounding with southern rock style breakdowns.
Blame Game was as good as always. They are a really good hard rock instrumental band along the lines of Don Caballero. Last night, 12 people decided that I needed to know that their bassist was my long lost twin.
What do you think?
