Grow up!!!!
Ok, so my roommate Elon had ppl over and they were having a bible study. Now, I always have to ask them to quiet down (I love them, but they are loud), but I don't have anything to do tomorrow, and was watching a movie, and they actually weren't that bad, so whatever. There are only about 5 people over and I'm closeted in my room and I hear the doorbell, figure it's another friend or Jamien, so I ignore it. Then I hear a knock at the door, but I thought it was someone knocking on Micah's door, b/c she's studying for a final. So about 15 min later I come out and everyone is out of hte living room and I asked Micah if they had left, but she says she told them to be quiet b/c the cops came by b/c they were being too loud, and if they had to come by again then it would go on her record b/c she opened the door. B/c SHE opened the door, and she was studying for heaven's sake! I looked at her trying to figure out if it was one of those sarcastic things....you know, hey, i'm trying to study and you guys are so loud that the cops came by, haha.

Yeah, apparently one of our jerkwad neighbores called the cops, and it had to be the people in the room above or below Elon's, b/c if I could barely hear them in the same apartment, you know no one across the hall could. Yup, instead of getting off their butt and politely asking them to quiet down, the called the cops. Yes, and simply b/c Micah was the one to answer the door, she would get the ticket....they don't care that she was IN HER ROOM studying for a final. For the record, our neighbores have had roaring parties with too many people to count, drinking games in the hallway, it's been so freaking loud that I couldn't sleep with my music up and my pillow over my head, but did I call the cops? NOOOOOOOOOO! I figured, hey, sure it's 1am, but I can sleep an extra hour tomorrow if need be. Yeah, no more of that. I don't care who you are, if you are even teh teensiest bit noisy, I will call the cops on you. No more parties. I still can't believe the jacka**'s were too weak/wimpy/lazy/cowardly/gutless (take your pick) or sissy of a person couldn't just ask us. Honestly. Ugh! don't ask me why i'm going off on this subject, since I really had no interaction. I think I'm just pissed on their behalf. For god's sake, freaking knock on our door! Moron. Yeah, out of spite I am so calling the cops on them any chance I can get. I'm so bored I almost feel like going to knock on their doors and telling them off. But I won't, b/c that would just look stupid and I'd regret it later. I also thought about posting a general notice to the effect of: "Hey, here's a thought!: Try knocking on a door and ASKING someone to be quieter instead of calling the cops on an already fairly quiet group! Try it, it may just work." But again, I'd look stupid. I thought about slipping it under doors, but again, I'd look like a moron. But still. Jerks.
The cops in East Lansing are obviously incompetent. How could you really pinpoint the sound? B/c I promise you, they were not loud enough to be heard in the hallway. Seriously, why would you want to be a cop here? What kid really says, ooOOOOoooo, when I grow up I want to be a cop in E.L.!! So I can spend my time going after drunk college students and chasing after noise violations. They prob couldn't get a job elsewhere.
Ok, just had to get that out. Little frustrated, but i'm over it now. :) But I still say again, if you think your having a party in this building ever again, HA, think again. Muwahahahahahaha.
