Let's see, friday I helped to throw a party for one of my professor's daughter. She's in 6th grade and just moved into the school district, so PCMA threw a halloween party for her and her classmates. Now, what is PCMA? Professional Convention Managers Assocation. Which I actually joined. That's right, I'm actually getting involved this year! It's a lot of fun though. After we cleaned up and everything I went over to Nicole's and watched Cold Creek Manor. Creepy movie. I remember the trailers made it seem like there was all this supernatural stuff going on, when in reality it was just creepy. Mind you, this was after the party ended, so I didn't end up getting home until 3am, which would have been fine my 1st year, but I can't take those late nights anymore.
Saturday I just worked and did nothing really. Well, nothing homework-wise. It's sad that I resort to cleaning to avoid hw. I came to the realization awhile ago that living on my own with roommates (on my own meaning not with a parental figure to do stuff for me) I have turned into my mother. Yes, it is true. I actually *gasp* clean my room EVERY week. B/c for some reason it gets dirty every week despite the fact that I pick everything up. But yes, I cleaned both Saturday and Sunday, dusted, swept, mopped (twice!), cleaned the kitchen, my room, tables and counters. It was scary. I'm sure my roommates are annoyed at this point, b/c I got sick of the clutter so I threw what we didnt need out and put stuff in there rooms that was cluttering up the living room. But my biggest accomplishment was my grocery shopping. I have had no food for the past week, so I went to Kroger (which does not compare to Wegman's or Top's AT ALL) and did some shopping, with coupons and everything. With my sale items (I didn't buy anything that wasn't on sale) and double coupons, I saved $32!!! I'm sure many ppl find this boring, but I think it is a great accomplishment. I seriously am a domestic goddess. After I cleaned and put away my food, I proceeded to cook up all this chicked I bought so I could freeze it and then just take out individual portions to defrost and eat for dinner. And then, after cooking and cleaning, I baked! Go me.
