Hello?
Well, shit. Has it really been 9 fucking years? I have a fairly significant life change happening. No, it's not menopause, went through that about 5 years ago.
My oldest kiddo was just accepted to college after taking a gap year, that was needed for a few reasons. Medically, my son has Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos, which necessitated using a cane. He's trans, and faced significant harassment and abuse at school. So...high school really fucking sucked for him in a number of ways.
But now.
He's legally changed his name. His health, both physical and mental, has improved. I have so many feelings right now. The campus is about an hour from here so he'll be independent but still close to home.
My life is very different now, with more changes to come.
