Even though it's not done yet, I'm kind of excited about this piece I'm working on.
I normally don't do this kind of involved carving because first and foremost, I'm just not that fucking patient. Also, this is partly an exercise in pushing outside my comfort zone, and I really hoping I manage to get it fired and glazed without fucking it up in some way because that would suck.
