A Brief, Seasonal PSA

For anyone who does yard work and is unfortunate enough to come in contact with poison ivy, as I have, the best homemade remedy is to simply make a thin paste with baking soda and water, and spread it on.

It isn't pretty, but it works.

That is all.

I go out in the woods a lot. I haven't been unfortunate enough to brush against poison ivy in a while but next time I do I'll definitely have to try this.

I was skeptical at first....until I got poison, and decided I had nothing to lose. I was shocked!

It costs so very little, isn't toxic, and it dries it right up.

Big Pharma can go suck eggs!
