first off, several americans are lazy because most have just been given freedom and so they take it for granted. unlike most immigrants where it is a DREAM to come here and have a better life with all their new free choices they can make. not to mention, they get more money in the US, which they usually send some back to the families from which they came.
now the down side to this is.....US businesses are wanting more immigrant workers because it is CHEAP LABOR....and the business men's pockets get bigger and bigger... and guess what...less jobs for Americans and more money leaving the country. take for example computer programmers from India, they get a visa....come to school in the states.....after graduation, takes a job making 24,000 a year compared to what they would have to pay an American (40,000 if not more) for the same job. once the Indian gets his pay check...part of it goes back to India, and the American still has no job, hence an unemployeement problem.
I do wish more Americans appreciated what they are given more and maybe then we wouldn't have this problem, and i am glad immigrants are in this country because they do bring more culture with them and they are extremely hard workers....which i truely love. nevertheless, immigrantion is a problem in the US and will there be any jobs left tomorrow for our children? .....at least the business owner is staying in america...instead of outsourcing....OH WAIT...i forgot..they are doing that to......
i have no idea what the future will bring......but what i do know is American's hopefully will start appreciating what they have......before it is gone.
