Okay...so highlights of Christmas:
1.) Talking with my cousin Nick on the phone for a little while (he lives in England). Apparently, his two year old son recorded a message for my Nana (when they called, he was asleep). I wish I would have gotten to hear it (a baby with a british accent...talk about cute!)
2.) The mound of Butterfingers I recieved. I'll be working on them for weeks.
3.) All of the pink stuff my sister recieved. This year, I guess, was a pink Christmas.
4.) Choffering my grandparents two and from their house in Gresham. Although it took me an hour both ways, I not only got paid for my driving, but I got out of doing the mound of dishes from Christmas Dinner. Talk about lucky.
5.) The very political dissussion we had at Christmas Dinner. It was basically 3 against 3... or more like 2 against 2. My Nana, who never told me her political beliefs, was very apparently pro-Kerry, ant-Bush. So we sided to diffute my dad and Granddad, Bush supporters (ugh). My mom was kinda in the middle, so she imputed comments here and there, and my sister is well...my sister. It was fun and no one came away with hurt feelings. And it was nice to know, I have a fellow Democrat (well, she's a registered independent, but she was democratic in her way of talking) in the family. (I think my other Grandma voted for Kerry too, but I'm not 100% sure)
However, there are still a couple of things I didn't get for Christmas (yet), but you can't find under the tree. But I hope they're coming soon!
1.) OUR HOUSE TO SELL. Hopefully it will be sold by the end of January.
2.) For me to get into college. Well, I know I'll get into a college, I just really hope it's Pitzer (and I find out around the 1st of January)
3. A part in our school musical. I know I'm not the best singer in the world (or the best dancer for that matter), but after reading the script, I have decided that I would love to play the part of the Stage Manager, Mr. Throttle. Not a whole lot of singing, no solos, no dancing, and few lines. PERFECT. Of course, I'm not really expecting anything...I'm just auditioning for auditioning sake and it would be nice if I happen to get a part.
4.) A date for Prom. I would like one for Semi, but I don't think that's going to be possible. But I'm definitely searching for Prom.
Alright, that's enough LJ for now. I'm currently working on learning how to use my new camera (YEAH!!!) and then I'm going to cuddle up in my bed and watch another episode of the OC (I rented the 1st season on Netflix, and I can't get the DVD to work on my TVs, just my laptop).
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
