Went to the local park tonight for pokemons. Stated closing time 10pm. There were trucks of park employees driving around telling people closing was 9:45. Okay. They wanted people out of the park entirely by 10, I get that.
We're gathering our stuff (water bottles. snack trash.) People are finding their groups. At 9:45 exactly the lights go out. Not the lights for the walking path at the park perimeter or the parking lot lights. Just the lights for all the interior spaces where people were congregated.
Have I mentioned that the center of the park is a series of ponds and lagoons with islands connected by bridges? That was super fun to navigate in the dark, let me tell you.
And then one of the two park gates was locked. At 10 minutes before the posted closing time with no signage indicating that the gate would be locked before closing.
... Something tells me that this park is not enjoying the Pokemon players using it.
