This is amazing -- I like the use of the mirror pose, and I love the sideways glance Sirius is giving Lily. (You're absolutely right -- he knows perfectly well how good-looking he is, and it shows!) Also the way the ends of Lily's scarf are floating as she walks.

The little details that set this in the HP world and the time period are wonderful, too.

Wow, thank you very much! I was very taken with the idea of the mirror as well, but I had to play around quite a lot before it worked (hence all the posing on Sirius' part).

I always try to include little details for the insiders, so I'm glad you think they worked. :)

Thank you again.

Oh, I love it. The composition is really great - I really like the way we can't see them face on, only reflected. I really love Sirius' pose - it seems so very him, and I adore the little details, like the no hexing at the bar sign. Lily's cloak is great, too.

Thank you so much. I had to play around with composition quite a lot, so I'm very pleased you think it works. Sirius was a great muse and completely at ease posing, and I'm glad I have captured his personality in his pose! I'm also happy you mention Lily's cloak, because I tried something new, and I think it gave it a great texture, and set it apart from her trousers.

I laugh shamelessly at my own joke with the no hexing sign every time I see it! ;)

Thank you again. :D

This is really wonderful. From the characters' poses to the details in the bar, it's all so HP.

Does that little heart have the initials R.T. in it or am I just seeing what I want to see, lol?

Thank you! :) Much of my art is just about the people and not very magical in itself, so I try to HP it in the details. I'm very happy that you think it works.

Oh the heart - the only explanation for what that is doing here in a period way before it was an actuality (in fact at this point in time it would just be a little sick..)is that a deeply disturbed prophetic artist felt a need to demonstrate her abilities as a seer. lol! (Well spotted btw!)

oh I love this! That layout of it with their reflections is mysterious and not at the same time. I especially love all the little details with the signs and such. And of course the little R/T in the heart is wonderful! ;)

Great job!

Thank you very much! I liked the idea of the mirror too - it was a challenge to draw the reflections and the real persons so that you believed it was them in the mirror. It is like you see something in the mirror which you were not supposed to - plus they actually only see each other through the mirror as well. I had a lot of fun with this. :) The details all come to me during the drawing - and I sit there laughing at my own jokes!

I'm glad you liked it, thank you.

Oh, this is just wonderful. :D I, too, love the No Hexing sign (and how great that it looks like someone has hexed the word "bar" right off of that sign, lol!). Sirius' expression is perfect, with his lip curled just a bit, very enticing. I also like how he's got his weight shifted onto one foot with elbows on the bar, very casual. Love Lily's freckles and the way she takes in Sirius with curiosity and perhaps a bit more (wishful thinking?). I also really like how her robe swirls like smoke (good use of the prompt!); it's as if she's brought a little of the cold air in with her. The details of the bar - all the signs, the R+T, etc. - really bring this location to life and ground the characters. I love it! :D

Thank you so much! You, know I think Sirius hexed that sign, but he refused to tell me if I was right. ;)
Sirius was a lovely muse, very natural in his poses. You have to love a man who is goodlooking when he is casual! Lily was a bit more hesitant, but I got to know her a little, discovered that she had freckles and was a bit more mischiveous than I had thought at first. I'm happy you associate the robe with the smoke - that was indeed my intention. :D The signs worked themselves in as the drawing progressed, and I'm very pleased you think that they bring a "reality" to the piece.

Thank you so much, again. :)
