The area around him is dark and Aya realizes that his hair is loose. Long read strands fall around his shoulders and onto the floor beneath him. He closes his eyes a moment before looking up to see a man leaning against a wall that's suddenly appeared.
"It's been too long, Ran."
"Kikyo..."
The man laughs and suddenly appears behind him, hands on his shoulders. He leans in and one hand plays with the long strands of hair.
"Looks like you have more weight to carry around, little Ran. All that blood on you and now a sacrifice?" The room suddenly seems to be a pool of blood they're standing in. Before them images of Aya from the chest up can be seen. He's on his stomach and is arching, face seeming lost in arousal.
Aya looks away. "It's not like that."
"No? I thought you'd tell me that this is what makes us different. But no...we're really not, are we? Your blade hungers for blood too."
The image changes and there is a chest of a man. Suddenly a knife plunges into it.
"You see? We're not so different, after all..."
Aya spins around but punches only air. All around him Kikyo's laughter can be heard. "No...I'm not like you..."
"But you are, Ran. You are..."
Aya sits up suddenly gasping. His violet eyes are wide and he manages to do only one thing. Filter this away from Alice. He won't let her see it. Then he shuts the Dreamberry off.
