Something interesting

Or maybe only I will find this interesting.

I was reading articles concerning the Christian vs. New Age debate (which I guess I really shouldn't do, it just upsets me), and found this article written by a pagan to refute what the Christian woman he is referencing is saying. Confusing? http://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=cabc&c=whs&id=6618, if you're really interested. The author takes an interesting quote from the woman, who is trying to demean paganism by implying that it is completely unorganized:

"Pagans subscribe to a vast number of different beliefs, and Christians should not assume that all pagans believe the same things. Pagans even argue among themselves about what the definition of 'pagan' is so it is hard to catalogue what they all believe."

The author challenges the reader to switch the words "Christians" and "pagans" in this quote and see what you come up with. Well, here we go:

"Christians subscribe to a vast number of different beliefs, and pagans should not assume that all Christians believe the same things. Christians even argue among themselves about what the definition of 'Christian' is so it is hard to catalogue what they all believe."

Isn't that interesting.

I do get very tired of the whole "my faith is better/truer/more authentic/more open-minded than your faith" debate, no matter which side is slandering the other. Just accept that you aren't going to agree and get over it.
