"Not One More"
Reposting this. While I have owned a 9mm & believe people can responsibly own guns, I do not believe someone's right to own Every Kind Of Automatic Weapon &/or virtually unlimited capacity clips, nor people with serious mental health &/or criminal should trump ANYONE'S right to live.
Yes, the 2nd Amendment guarantees the right to own guns. No, it doesn't mean your right is more important to the right of every person to continue to be alive.
Richard Martinez, the dad of one of the people murdered recently in Santa Barbara has asked people to send in "Not One More" postcards to their elected politicians to protest the constant senseless deaths & capitulation of politicians to the NRA. Responsible gun ownership, safety & licensing laws are not anti-2nd Amendment. We license & restrict car ownership, why not some of these ultra-high capacity weapons?
