Not much commentary, pretty tired & bed time!

Coated copper, 22gauge double knit with Sodalite. 2 of the picts the wire looks more gold than copper--I think the flash threw the colour off a bit, don't know why :*( I put this up for $80NZ

Gorgeous work! I thought that was sodalite! It's a lovely stone, and it works well with the copper colour. I think your work is really fabulous.

Thank you very much! I am having fun doing these different designs and working on the pieces. I feel like I'm building up as a craftsman. I'm getting positive feedback, now to start selling more of them. At the moment I'm happy making a bunch of stuff because come Christmas I'm hoping it will sell. Fingers crossed! I've started putting them up at Carol's Felt site (NZ version of Etsy) as well and we're talking about building a Facebook page so people can see the stuff and especially so people who go to Craftworld would be able to see what we've just taken out to the booth.

The sodalite is a low quality but I think it works well on this kind of piece. I've just ordered some lapis, a higher grade and a higher sheen so we'll see how that looks on a torque too. I've got a lot of ideas, the jade and copper ones look amazing so I'll do more of those for sure. I think a patina'd copper torq with jade ends would be fabulous.

And I want to make a torq for myself as well :)
