I haven't heard anything about the job yet. :S It could be no big deal: maybe they haven't made a decision. Maybe it means I didn't get it and they didn't get the time to tell me. Maybe it means they've offered it to someone else and are waiting for them to accept/reject the position before they tell the rest of us.
I was hopeful for about the first half of the day, but my mood slipped as the day went on. Now I have the weekend to get through before I know anything for sure.
Ah well.
I had the joy of getting lots of mail today! C went to check the PO Box. I got 1 bill, one small package (my
Coffee Joulies I backed on Kickstarter awhile ago) a post card from

herlander_refugee. I'm thrilled because one of them was a card with a photo of a green man pottery (?) with a tear-drop shaped piece of sap running down the nose. It's a beautiful image and I'm thrilled to have it. Thank you all!!
I started a letter during lunch the other day, I'm hoping with the nicer weather and hopefully a slightly smaller work load I can take my full lunch breaks and go outside and sit and write or read.
I saw some Christmas cards in Whitcoull's today and I couldn't help but pick up a pack of 2 of the designs. They were kind of cute. I've got some of my
Cafepress Christmas cards still left over. I've resisted the tempation to pick up some more, I'll stick with some of the local ones for now.
I stopped by the post office and picked up some stamps too. :( They've gone towards Judeo-Christian images for the stamps and didn't have anything else for the international letter stamps. I don't think they had anything else for the 10-pack of international postcard stamps either. At least they are colourful, nice blues in the p-card ones and reds in the letter ones.
