Look! Letters, Haka Flash Mob and Relay for Life 2012
C checked the PO Box today :) Look what I got! Thank you, each of you who sent them. You know who you are. I have read them and want to re-read them a couple more times.
There was a "haka flash mob" at work today in honour of the start of the Rugby World Cup on Friday. We watched it from above (our work building is one of those in the video), it was pretty cool from a birds-eye view. Here's a kind of low-quality video from Youtube, the action really gets started around 1:00.
I went to the first captain's meeting for the 2012 Relay for Life. :) I'm excited for another year of Relay. I'll post more about it as we get a bit closer but am pretty tired at the moment.
My performance review went pretty well today, I am not sure where I'll rank, what (if any) bonus I'll get or what (if any) raise I'll get as we are all put up against other people in our grade and I don't know how I'll stack up against a bunch of people in different roles. But on the + side my team leader said she didn't want me to get a job anywhere else and wanted me to stay in the team. She also said that I had the highest score next to one person in the performance reviews I got from my managers/assistant managers. :) That made me feel good.
