We're fine, we don't live anywhere near
the earthquake. I've got friends, people from work who I've met before and have worked with for years, that are directly impacted and I don't know how they are or how their families are. I feel sorry for our staff and for our customers, for anyone caught up in the devastation down there.
I'm tired, late nights this week but wanted to stop in & soothe any possible worries.
ETA: Google has put together a people-tracker if you know anyone in Christchurch and want to see if they are ok. It's probably not really updated at the moment but something to keep an eye on:
http://christchurch-2011.person-finder.appspot.com/ ETA2: The
New Zealand Herald website has ongoing information and pictures. There's a
page on the Herald about donations, right now the Salvation Army and Red Cross seem to be the first 2 organisations asking for donations, but the
Red Cross NZ donation site doesn't have anything specifically for this earthquake yet. The
Salvation Army site does.
