jennamajere. I'm not uploading anything because, well, I can't anyway. My MP3 player is broken. But that's alright! My letter is D.
1. Days of the Pheonix by AFI. For some reason I always really liked this song. It's older AFI stuff and it makes me want to be in a rock band. XD
2. Deify by Disturbed. I like the message of the song. It's basically about how we put these human leaders (the president, the pope, etc. etc.) higher than god sometimes. Now, I don't actually have a solid belief in a god, but it does have sort of a "fuck you" rebellion vibe.
3. Down Once More by er, the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack I guess. I loooove the Phantom of the Opera and when I was fourteen and going through my little gothic ~*~*~HARDCORE~*~*~ phase I'd blast it after school every day. Cause I was cool like that.
4. Deer Dance by System of a Down. Dude. It's System of a Down. It reminds me of me and Gil's RP and it's fun to jump around to. I know, my musical interests are SO DEEP.
5. December by Collective Soul. I've liked them since I was a child. Just something about the guitar and the lyrics. Pretty nifty stuff.
1.)Comment on this post and I will choose five interests from your profile. (if you want to do the meme, that is...not to say you can't just reply)
2.)You will then explain what they mean/why you are interested in them.
3.)Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

jennamajere again for cabaret, leather,Chicago, rain and snakes
1. Cabaret: Well, if you know me, you know I love musicals. Obsessed. I've seen about eight or so on Broadway and it's clearly a very sexy addiction. Cabaret is one of my all time favorites. Not only is it very amusing, but it has extremely serious and symbolic undertones that I always appreciate. The music is excellent and I'm glad that I got to see it right before it went off Broadway.
2. Leather: Leather is sexy. Very, very sexy. One day, I shall cover TJ in all leather and then proceed to video tape him for my, er, "Documents". Yum. As you can see, I'm totally not a vegan.
3. Chicago: Another musical that I enjoy. I haven't actually seen it on Broadway, but I intend to remedy that soon. The movie was well done, though and it's another one of those soundtracks that I can listen to all the time. Good stuff for when you're pissed at your boyfriend though, right?
4. Rain: I always feel that rain is calming. I don't mean like storming (although that IS cool to watch), I mean like just a heavy downpour. Everything is very quiet and peaceful, and it's a good time to just think or daydream. I also find it very pretty when it's near some sort of park or forest. Rain in the city is just kind of depressing.
5. And finally, we have snakes: Okay, you know, I LIKE snakes. Not too many people do, and most of the people I know are very squeamish, but I've always been interested in them. I mean, they're creatures that DON'T HAVE LEGS and DISLOCATE THEIR JAW TO SWALLOW THEIR FOOD WHOLE. Awesome. Not to mention some of venomous which is even cooler. I got to hold a boa constrictor at the May Day Festival at my school (they had this whole thing with snakes and lizards and alligators - I got to hold a baby gator too!) and I was amazed at how this calm creature could SLOWLY KILL ME if she so desired. Very cool stuff.
So now that that's out of the way...
Every Friday that I'm not in school or working, I wake up at the crack of fucking dawn and go grocery shopping with my dad. I have to. I'm the one who cooks in this house. Plus I don't get to spend much time with my dad, and I take this time to do so. Sure I only get three hours of sleep but HEY IT'S MY DAY OFF I CAN NAP. Er...
So I'm at the check out lane, my dad is paying the lady and I'm bagging. I bag very quickly because I just don't feel like hanging around wasting my time.
While I'm doing my usual "grab everything that looks alike and put them in one bag as fast as possible before a headache sets in" I notice one of the workers looking at me. I ignore this and blame my breasts, which are getting some air with the top I managed to throw on in my stupor, but he keeps staring. So finally I look up and just stare back.
Staring. Just staring.
O__O
And then he sort of gives me this nervous smile and says "...you know, you're really sexy when you bag groceries like that."
...
WHAT?! What does that even mean? What's sexy about it? I just stare at him and then manage to sputter a "...thanks." and move on. CREEPY.
I mean, I'm glad I got complimented but... wow. I've never heard that one before.
Oh well. Today I'm going to see Wallee with Jill and then I might go out with Jess and Steph later. Tomorrow I get to go driving (yaaay -_-) and hang out with Sandra, and Sunday is the gay pride parade in Manhattan. Fun!
