Wow! I've been really out of the loop. :)
I found, through Facebook, that there is a DVD/Blueray disc containing Buffy's Season 8. I guess you it works like CDIsplay, right? Now the important questions:
1. Has Season 8 concluded?
2. Who is getting said DVD/Blueray?
3. Based on various comments I see that TV series fans didn't like the comic but if they are selling the whole S8 in disc format then I must conclude that there is large comic fanbase, am I right?
In other news, today I saw an announcement in James Marsters' official FB regarding the Shakespeare event and I couldn't help but noticing that the Platinum tickets are $1000... Am I the only one wondering if for future events the prices will go up to the point of making them unaffordable? As much as I love the guy I wouldn't pay $650 over the Saturday event fee ($350) just to watch a movie and then discussing it with James while having a few drinks and some snacks and then having breakfast with him the following day. I don't judge those who will pay the price but for me there is no logical explanation for it. I almost felt offended when I read the news.
