Here are my words according to Catrina-
Steelers, Orange, David Tennant, Kirby, Settlers of Catan
Steelers - They are pretty much the best football team evah! Really its not the fact that they are a winning team its more the Steeler fan base nation and what it means to me. I really really really miss Pittsburgh and desperately want to go back. Since football is so popular and the Steelers are doing so well I can watch them here in The Mistake On the Lake and feel like I am a part of Pittsburgh even if I am not actually there. During the week proceeding the Super Bowl I found this really cool website that has all kinds of Steelers songs on it, but also they have this Terrible towel tracker. It has all kinds of pictures of people with their Terrible towels all over the world. There isn't one in Paris so while I am there I plan on taking one and submitting it.
Orange - Orange is my second favorite color. It is also included in my all time favorite color combination teal and orange (with black and gray as accents). My hair is technically orange, though the English language calls it red. This comes in handy a lot in my large classes since not too many people have my color hair so my friends can pick me out in a large crowd. It doesn't come in handy because my Physiology professor can tell when I am skipping class. One of the reasons that I want to go to Japan is because I want to see what would happen when the Japanese people see me since they all have black hair. OK so that's not really why I want to go, but I think it would be interesting anyway.
David Tennant - (aka Tennant-Pants) You guys probably all know this already, but David Tennant is the actor who plays the 10th doctor on a British TV show Doctor Who. He has had other various roles but most of them have not been seen by the average US population. I think the only one that was mainstream was him playing Barty Crouch Jr. in the 4th Harry Potter book (probably only on screen for like 15 min at most). He is My Doctor. No this is not dirty in anyway (though I don't think I would complain if it was). He is by far the best looking doctor as well(5 and 11 are not far behind). This is probably why I like him so much but I digress. It makes me really sad that after this year he is quitting Doctor Who. Its not that I dont like Matt Smith, I just really like Tennant. At Katsucon I bought two posters with Tennant on them one is from New^15 York. And the other is just him looking serious with is sonic screwdriver.
Kirby - I am not really sure why Catrina picked this but its cool so I will roll with it. Kirby is one of my favorite video game characters. For those of you who don't know, Kirby was originally named after a popular vacuum cleaner brand(I just realized how strangely vacuum was spelled). Kirby is also the only character that I really can play well with in Brawl. At Katsucon I bought this really cute Kirby plushy. Its apparently archer Kirby, but it sort of looks like cupid crossed with an angle. It has a bow and arrow with a little heart arrow head, wings, and a halo. Catrina bought a Link Kirby at the same stand. He is also really cute.
Settlers of Catan - This is an awesome board game. I play it every Friday with my friends. Its pretty much the only strategy game that my ADD will put up with. I am not too good but its still loads of fun to play. I gave this to Catrina for Christmas and she really liked it. Unfortunately she hasn't played it since going back to college since her friends are all super boring.(Not really its just that you guys should get on the ball and play it since its lots of fun and made of win)
So I decided that it was time to change my journal's appearance since its been the same since the year I created it....ummmm yeah about that. I also finally uploaded some icons from my icon stash as you guys can see.
Not much is going on here besides mid terms. On of my professors decided to make homework due on Thursday which I am no to thrilled about. I have a test on Wednesday and two on Friday so I am not really sure when I will I will have the time to to an assignment that "should only take two hours." I don't have 2 fucking hours to do an assignment. Eh, at least I can look forward to spring break. I am going to be taking a 3 credit course in Paris over break so if anyone wants anything from France (except Absinthe, I refuse to sneak it back into the country) I will be happy to get for you.
