The olde grind.

Work was... interesting today. to begin with, the supervisor rouded everybody from my shift up for a reunion... Before anybody could be able to sign on! Thing was, many people (including me. Heheheh) were filling up the shift papers entirely and leaving before their shift was over. (To explain, we're still using an archaic pen-and-paper work hours filling method.) So now, we HAVE to show up at the office when our shift is over. Bummer.

Secondly, they decided to do some restructuring of personnel. You see, while I work at a bath house on the beach, I work FOR the beach's center administration. Now, I may say the 1 million "stink spirit" jokes of the bath house, but I've actually grown to like working there, especially when you consider the other jobs avialable on the beach. Sorry, but I was not cut out for the trash bus, or slaving under the hot sun, cleaning the tourists' garbage. They cut the Bath house personnel to 4 men and 5 women. (We were orininally about 9-12 men and 4 women.) Fortunately, I was selected among the four. Horray for me!

So, back on the olde grind, we were practically done with the bulk of the cleaning, and we were on the lobby, taking a well-deserved rest... when a bunch of ruckus-raising people stampeded through the lobby, owned the bathrooms for a while, and even scared off 7 potential clients! No, I'm not talking about 4 or even 8 people... They were close to 20 people, rampaging and being so in your face right up on the front desk. The mayority of the men [of that group] were trying so hard to hit on the girls, it was pathetic. Try as we could, we could not control them until they were finally out the door. Wow. But at least, that was a good way to kill off 10 minutes.

On a comepletely unrelated note, my baby nephew is hospitalized for who-knows-what. So I ask to those who have faith to pray for my nephew. And for those who don't... Get-well cards are appreciated too.
