someone somewhere really didn't prepare me to deal with an aging, sick parent.
they don't tell you about the nights of no sleep or cleaning up the piss all over the floor multiple times throughout the night because your parent can't make it to the bathroom or drops the jug they use to piss in.
how are people supposed to deal with having a job and dealing with this shit?
what is most upsetting is that the doctor was so positive that things would get better and that the plan we had would make it so my father would have a decent quality of life for another 5-10 years. this is clearly NOT what is happening.
what the fuck am i supposed to do? i didn't sign up to clean piss off of my floor at 11pm when i get home from work...then again at 2:38am...and then again at 7am.
