You want feedback, LJ? You got it.

I was under the impression that LJ was attempting to be cool, hip, groovy and WITH IT upon reaching the home site after logging in. It was after writing this (about 30% sarcastic) response that I realized there were minimal changes and I was freaking out over nothing. Derp.

"Livejournal. We need to talk. The very looks of this recent development all too much remind me of the "improved" myspace; gone and forgotten on the wayside. Soon, this will be another internet graveyard where only some come to visit, fewer come to stay. Why livejournal, why? I am deeply concerned about your well-being, and fear that the inevitable and complete take over of facebook/twitter/whatever future social platform is pushing you to be someone other than yourselves, and will only be your downfall in the long run. Please, I beg of you: let this be your only mistake of a potential many. Be not the catalyst of your own deterioration; if all else fails, leave LJ as a memorial, as it once was, so others may commemorate as proper ways may have it.

But seriously, I effin' love this place--no sarcasm--and the last thing I want to see is LJ go the wayside of Myspace and xanga (R.I.P.)."

EDIT: Might I ask, while we're on the subject: What the hell have you people done with Frank?!
