Bill wasn't exactly chuffed at the idea of being stuck indoors thanks to the rain. It had driven him from his home, and he'd been staying with Helen for the past week whilst the weather continued. Despite the downpour, he'd been outside a number of times, but today was a day to stay dry, he'd decided. Besides, rain was a perfect excuse to stay inside and jam.

That was why he was headed to his best mate's room, to drag him and Sharona into the rec room for some music. "Oi, Roger!" he called, announcing his presence as he walked into the room, heading straight back to Roger's section of the dorm. "Are you still in bed, you layabout?" he teased, when he saw Roger under the covers.

Roger didn't answer, and Bill frowned slightly. As far as he knew, there hadn't been anything to warrant him hiding out in here like he'd done before. Besides, Roger knew damn well if he'd tried to do that again Bill would be there just like the first time, dragging his arse out of bed. "Roger," Bill tried again. Still no answer. Not even movement, or an annoyed huff.

Bill was starting to get worried. Striding over to the bed, he peeled the covers away so he could see Roger's face - and Roger didn't look good, not at all. "Oh, shit," Bill said, panic rising as he bent down and shook Roger's shoulder lightly. "Roger, wake up, mate." Roger was as limp as a sodding wet dishrag. Bill felt for a pulse. There was one. He took both shoulders, shook slightly harder. "Roger, come on, wake up. Bloody buggering fuck...don't do this, Roger, wake the fuck up."
