obama/hillary
I was just wondering what other people's opinions are about Obama vs. Hillary in 2008. At first, I thought HRC was a better choice because of experience, but after reading Obama's autobiography and doing research I'm not so sure. I really REALLY like him. And at this point, I don't know that "inexperience" is such a bad thing. It could be an asset in that it would be difficult for opponents to arbitrarily pick apart his record. He's also optimistic, idealistic, and genuine (or at least appears to be) and seems far less jaded or calculating than many other politicians.
And, let's face it, Hillary carries around Bill-baggage. I liked him as president, but I know many others did not by the end of his last term. I do, however, bristle when I hear other people (Democrats included) call her a bitch. If she were a man, she would just be seen as a strong leader who knows how to get things done.
I really haven't talked to many others about this issue, though, and would love to hear opinions.
