Looking after
weskeag's cats this week while he's casing out a job in Houston.

Yes, the idea is that the cats are solvents and I mix, well basically completely, with them. I'm infinitely soluble in cats. Needless to say, I stay away from shelters and even the part of Petsmarts where they have adoptees, b/c I can't afford to look after another long-term. But between baankhka and I, well, cats are rather effective solvents around here so we seem to end up finding about 1 stray per year that we adopt off.
Glad things are working out there with the job ... must be a big relief. I'm plugging away here, at least I'm getting feedback on some of my applications. Better than last time, a year ago, when the economy really was abysmal.
$700 pet deposits are insane. So is "pet rent".
Here's one air travel link for cat owners that also has links to the airlines but there are lots of others. I just did a Google search. Here, I'll throw another atcha. Anyway, some research is required ... I think they are going to each need a kennel as well as having an exam within 10 days of the flight. Also, I kinda wonder that lots of places say only medium or large or even just large pets may travel as cargo. I think one of those links says Continental takes medium or large pets as cargo. Do cats qualify as medium?
