This year is starting off well for me, I'm hoping it continues. No strange disturbances outside my room, no panty raids, and as of yet no parties. Excellent to see the students are far more serious this year

Honestly? It comes down to the issue of a student being in the house of an Instructor who is not their Mentor. People might assume something unseemly.

Yes, exactly. Ew. Seriously though, you students are really only allowed to be social with Instructors in public places, except when it comes to your Mentor. You're supposed to be able to bring them any concern or question you have, so they relax the rules a bit.
