Fencing
I am going to purchase a fence charger. I have to have a hot fence around my garden to protect it from deer. The chicken coop and run need a low line of hot wire to protect the chickens from predators. A weasel wiped out my flock. And my pig pen needs enlarged, fortified and a low line of hotwire on the inside of the fence to keep pigs in. I'd like to get a pair of weaners later in the spring. In a perfect world my horse fencing would have a couple of strands of hot wire to help keep dogs out and horses off the fence.
In short, I have a lot of plans!!
I also need to source some good stock for fruit trees in my area. I have two apple trees, four peach trees and would like some plums and another apple. Eventually I would like a citrus tree, a lemon probably, that I would keep in a container and some blueberry bushes. The blueberries will need a raised bed, my soil isn't suitable for them, so I will try to construct that this year. Pecan trees would be lovely too. I need to work on some longterm plans!!! Good thing about farming is I get a ton of good exercise!
