I picked up another boy on Tues, Derek. Poor thing was getting rained on, and had a closey spot for me. yay. The rest of the week was a breeze (parking wise).
On Weds or something, went out to dinner with Lindsay, her sister Kristin, family friend Andrea and Lindsay's coworker John J. <--what a thug. We walk in the door and Kristin makes a beeline for the bar. We tell the hostess and our waiter not to worry, she's an alcoholic, aha etc. John & Andrea order drinks and Andrea asks if Jake (waiter) needs to see her ID. He says no.
Me: Jake, do you need to see my ID? :D
Jake: It depends on what you're getting
Me: I'll just have water. for now. (heh heh)
So he comes back and I ask if he recommends any margarita. He asks if I'm going for flavor (or something) or strength. Strength baby! He suggests the Horny Toad Margarita so I ordered it. He didn't card me. *did happy dance in my head*
Sooo that's my first time attempting to order alcohol w/o the parents. and it worked. hallelujah!

k so I've realized over the past few days - I'm actually enjoying learning for the first time, in who knows how long. I'm really digging my World Regional Geography class because of the professor. He is bizarre, weird, but makes all of it entertaining with his odd/funny comments and opinions. And that's the key. Make it interesting. It's a great feeling to want to go to class and want to listen to what he's saying. You rock, Professor de Oliver!
Apey was terribly cute and sent me an adorable postcard which I received a few days ago :) She said she has faith that I will do well in school this semester..I have to agree! I was feeling very negative about going back, but so far I have liked all of my classes. I have faith in myself too, which is new. Thank you Apey, I appreciate it!
La la la, Friday night.
