Ready for another aimless rambling of sorts?
I've been a father 2 weeks now. Tristan has grown much since his birth--his body developing, his muscles strengthening, his face ever slightly changing. I believe he looks more like Nicole now.
I get to spend limited time with him, as I allow myself alone time, in order to maintain some form of normalcy. At the same time, this makes me cherish every moment I have with him--burping, swaddling, rocking, staring.
It's also my 4th wedding anniversary week-let with Nicole. Since we were wed on Oct 4, but celebrate our original Oct 1 anniversary, we consider it an extended celebration. Barbecued ribs and video games were on the menu.
October is going to be a busy month for me. Distant parties, Nearby gigs (VAI!), family gatherings, and a baptism. Oh, and I guess it'd be Tristan's first month on earth.
Let's take it slow.
