The holidays make me more of a nerd...

...Not that I mind. XDD

I woke up at, like, 11.40am this morning... PHAIL. I have no idea how I'm going to cope in university... I have no sense of time when asleep (well, you know what I mean...like how some people wake up at exactly 8.30am or something EVERY morning? - I haven't got that). I hate waking up late. D: At least no headache was induced...

So yeah.
I totally bought a new poster for my room, YARLY. I mentioned on Monday I think...
And put it on the back of my door (can you tell I am REALLY bored?? And about to revise... GOD HELP US ALL). >_>;;
So yeah... I thought I'd do a photo post. D: YAWN.
See my awesome poster AND the books I am currently reading (you know you might/probably/don't want to! :D)
YAY D:,

Yay! I pretty much died when I saw this in HMV. I actually had to restrain myself from squeeing right there and then. Srsly. DD:<
I couldn't stop the glare from the camera. Ahhh well. You get the picture -- my brother called me a big nerd. I am. I am a big nerd. But hey: beats being predictably normal, right? (PS: I want a Burimyu poster...at least one of Eiki Kitamura. His face. I love it. XDD) As for the Watchmen poster I bought - my brother stole that. HAHAHA! We noticed Ozymandias has a really skinny neck. :3
My room is actually smothered in posters... Most of them are print outs (lol) of Burimyu, and Heroes, and various anime... I have tons of Death Note film posters too. Like, three of the first two, a gigantic one of Kenichi Matsuyama from the third movie, and a bunch of manga-Death Note posters. GAH I love decorating my room. When I get a house of my own, it will just be an extension of my room tbh. >_>;; I also have some drawings on my wall. I love my posters. I hate having a bare room (although my room is gigantic mess as I have run out of room for my clothes, magazines, books, and manga. DDD: Damn it.) My room. She is tiny.

These are the books I'm reading... So far so good. Shadow in the North is by Philip Pullman - it's the second in the set of four and it's on loan from my school's library. The first book was okay but it wasn't until the mass-on fight scene in it that I was like: OMG MOAR. DD: So yeah. This is good. XDD I like Jim in it. He's my favourite :D -- Salem's Lot by Stephen King: well I watched the NEW movie which has Rob Lowe and Dan Byrd in it and pretty much loved it - and I adore Carrie and The Long Walk by the same author so... :D It's good. Stephen King is amazing at writing. He's one of my favourite authors (and if you haven't read Carrie or The Long Walk, please do so. NOW. DD:<) Finally, I'm not too far with this one yet, but I got The Chrysalids by John Wyndham. The BBC has beaten me to making an adaption of Day of the Triffids (damn. XDD) but the author is awesome, and it's suggested at being post-apocalyptic and I love those novels so yay. XDD I'll get back to you all on what the books were like when I've finished 'em. :p

In other news: the Higurashi manga is out on sale in town now OMGROFLBBQYAY. I totally love Higurashi (I, uh, haven't seen the anime as it looks disturbing...) but the manga actually scares enough of the bejeebus out of me to make me love it a lot. XDDD I love the alternate arcs but the arc I wanna read - that the anime focuses more on I believe - is not translated by anyone yet. I NEED TO READ ITTTTT~~ T_T;;

(Oh if anyone knows any new manga for me to read then please tell me. But, y'know, something unusual, and obviously not...y'know...eww. XD I read Bleach a lot and I've read too much of Naruto, and have Death Note, so yeah, something new is always appreciated. :D)

star trek, death note, life, naruto, novels, holidays, books, post-apocalyptic, fiction!love, stephen king, bleach
