I used my gift cards to buy Bleak House (Charles Dickens), Adrian Mole: The Lost Years (Sue Townsend), Brideshead Revisited (Evelyn Waugh), and Agnes Grey (Anne Brontë). centuries, I did not receive your comment until after I got back, but next time I'm on an Amazon.com bender I will look into purchasing some of your suggestions.
Books I've read recently or am currently reading: Waiting for Godot (Samuel Beckett), The Diary of a Provincial Lady (E.M. Delafield), and The Pickwick Papers (Dickens again). Friday night I read a Nancy Drew book while in the bathtub.
The meeting in Raleigh was boring. Found out I still can't go anywhere without encountering someone who "used to live in Florida" and thinks he/she knows everything. We're to undergo a management change at my particular store sometime in the near future. I was quite happy and relieved to hear that. Also, they paid for lunch.
I don't have to work tomorrow, so I'm going to stay up and watch A Woman of Paris on TCM at midnight, and probably read ghost stories online and scare myself.
