christmas rocks.
I just came home and found some yummy pudding my mum left me :D Just the right thing after an exhausting guitar lesson :D
So here is my new list xD After I gave up my intentions for 2008 I found somehting new.
Step One:
- Make an LJ post, albeit public or locked. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. These wishes can be anything, from simple and fandom-related (a fic written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new car). Just make sure these are wishes for things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things, like a DVD or CD, make sure you include some sort of contact information in your post. It can be your address or your email address, as long as Santa (or one of his elves) can somehow get in touch with you. ;)
- Make sure you post a version of these guidelines in your LJ, because it's important that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two:
- Skim through your friend's list (or the brand new friends of friend's list, or random journals) to see who has posted their list. Now is the most important part: if you find a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make that person's wish come true. Sometimes your trash is another person's treasure! If you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or you even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - give it to someone who wants it.
Step Three:
- Post this, in your LJ, any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.
Step Four:
- You don't need to spend money on these wishes to make them come true. Only spend money if you want to. The point isn't to put people out; it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf. It's to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not. It's all up to you. :)
- There are no rules for this project, nor are their any guarantees or any strings attached. Just wish! Your wish might come true! And give if you can. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday a special one. :)
#01. SHINY GRAPHICS.
So I think everyone knows what that means :P I want icons, banner and especially shiny wallpaper! With any of my fandoms, but I would prefer Supernatural, Bones and stock. Oh and cartoons xD You will think 'cartoons wtf?'. I mean something like the lovely sheepy_hollow posted in her last post (@tees) just to give you an idea :)
#02. ANYTHING SELFMADE.
I love selfmade things :D Whether it's a necklace, a drawing or cookies, everything. You can make anything for me.
#03. TSHIRTS.
I'm doing lots of stuff over @ deviantart lately and found a photographer who always wears so lovely tshirts :D Here are some examples 1 / 2
I love the superhero logos. My size would be UK 10.
#04. EPISODES OR MOVIES.
Would be awesome if someone could upload some episodes of the current Bones (season 4) or Prison Break (season 3) seasons. Or just from tv series you think are made of awesome and should have a fan more ;)
#05. SHEET MUSIC OR CHORDS.
Like you maybe know I'm playing (or better learning how to play :P) the guitar now and I would love to have some more notes. I know I could search them via the inet and print it on a blank sheet of paper but I don't like it this way, it feels so foreign and 'clean'. I like old books and already damaged sheets with notes and maybe self written stuff on it :D So if you find anything like this and don't need it anymore; I'd love to take it.
#06. OLD TAPES & PLATTER'S.
Good old tapes are so made of awesome :D And when you have some of those little ones, even better! Whether there's good or bad music on it doesn't matter but I love the shape of them :)
And those big vinylplatters with the furrows. Retro.
#07. NEW HEADPHONES.
You know WESC? It's a company that makes street- and skatefashion. It's expensive like hell but they sell those unbelievable pretty headphones that fit your head like a glove *drools*
I'd die to have them.
#08. LETTERS & CARDS.
Write me. Every time I find a letter or card in my letterbox I squee out loud :D Getting mails makes me feel like people think and care about me.
#09. A FLIGHT TO NEW YORK.
I would like to see a white New York with this ubertall christams tree in front of the Rockefeller Center. And shopping :D
#10. PICSPAMS.
GIVE ME PICSPAMS. Of you. Your christmastree. Your room. Anything. I love looking at shiny pics from my inetfriends :3
