So way back when I posted this image, deconcentrate asked me how I shaded it, and I said that I'd do a step-by-step example. And I did! And I uploaded it! ...in September. Somehow I forgot to actually post it in, you know, my livejournal until now. Sorry, Todd

This is so interesting! I suck at shading (though I'm much worse at choosing areas inked fully black, even though I like the look of some bold black areas I tend to be really afraid that they will mess everything up when I try and am much too timid) so it's always great to see different techniques. (I always hope something sticks. *g*)
