Wouldn’t it be interesting if maybe just for a day how much you could change the world if you knew what everyone around you was thinking? What would you do if you found out your best friend secretly despised of you or your mother was slowly loosing her mind? What would you do if you knew a stranger was going to die or a criminal was about to steal? Would you do something or simply not accept the truth and try so hard to push it far away? Sometimes we cry over the thoughts of others. Misinterpret their facial expressions or tone of voice. It would be so much easier if we knew, what on earth was going on in the emotional minds of those we interact with. Would knowing their true intentions, feelings, and thoughts alter our behaviour towards them? More than likely. But how much is too much? What if we knew their deepest darkest secret, would you still love them?
I suppose for better or for worse we are stuck not knowing what each other are thinking. It results in us all knowing that some things are just best left unspoken, which in effect builds walls, barriers, forts whatever you want to call them. And no matter how hard you cry they will never fall down until we all begin to tell the truth; and for some reason I can’t see that happening any time soon.
