So I'm back.... I got NPQ'd from officer candidate school. I was a heat case on a run, like heat exhaustion sorta thing, and they had to do bloodwork to make sure all my levels were normal, and the doctor comes in and goes 'so mr. peterson, weird thing about your lab results, your liver enzymes are elevated' (i put on a surprised face, I didn't tell them about the condition) "oh?, what does that mean?"
and then for a week they ran blood tests daily on me, sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound, about everything that i had gotten done in close to six months in columbus they did in a week. can't figure it out, I'm an 'interesting case, which is a bad thing when it comes to medicine' (according to my dr)
so, they did me a favor and NPQ'd me with possible hepatitis (blatant lie on their part, all my tests on that came back negative), they put it as that so I'd have a real medical condition that would have kept me from a week of training, because they wouldn't allow me to train, and since I couldn't train for over 5 days I was going to be dropped for failure to be evaluated, and if that happened I wouldn't be allowed to reapply and come back, so medical npq'd me (not physically qualified) so I have the choice to reapply and come back as long as whatever is wrong can be medically cleared, meaning they have to find out what actually is wrong with me.
so that sucked. But I'm home now, and I'll start a workout routine here and get a job to make up for the 2500 that I'm not going to be making there, and I'll get my car here and drive it to Ohio instead of waiting till I get there, so its bad news but theres always a bright side to it, I guess.
ok I'm out
