(no subject)
I don't update this thing enough really....
Have been a bit preoccupied though. My mum had a really serious road accident a few weeks ago, and is only just home from the hospital (after major surgery on shattered femur, knees and ankle), so have spent a LOT of time at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary (and the debt of a third world country on fecking car parking charges!) Thankfully, she is now slowly on the mend, but her motor-biking days are over!!
I really should be revising for the 500 (ok, 5) enormous essays I have to produce before 27th January in order to get my nursing degree in September (and not just the deadbeat diploma), but I've been rather distracted by a bottle of rum found lurking at the back of a cupboard - can't really focus on the academic world at the minute. Can't really focus to be honest!
Also, the Olympia horse show in on telly, so am rather absorbed by that.
Have, rather bizzarely, discovered a tribal belly dance troupe (literally across the road from me) and had a great time doing a 3 hour workshop with them on Sunday. They (or should I say we!) do lots of performances, so more opportunities to show off my red and black falls and do scary back-bends. Has also inspired me to get more tattooed. I want peacock feathers on my stomach!!!
Horsey is behaving rather too well for my liking at the minute. He's obviously plotting something terrible...... One of the girls at the stables seems to be rather in love with him at the minute - she is actually volunteering to put him to bed for me at night, and claims that it's a pleasure to do so. Weird!
Am loving, loving, LOVING my gorgeous, flashy, swish and exciting spanking new computer. Thank you Ewan!!!!!
