I know. And I know how to pace myself, too; I'm not going to end up wigging out on an officer or in the infirmary like certain people here.

But just being the best isn't always good enough. I've got more important things to worry about than just competing with you and Wondergirl.

Does everything have to be a competition with you? Rei doesn't care about being the best, and I sure as hell don't. Toji is just struggling to get by, he certainly didn't ask to be an Eva pilot. So why does it matter so much to you?
