good: i gave up on trying to make my hair interesting with cut and style. back to the purple. my coworkers are mostly supportive.
good: due to some recent...catalytic events, i've finally gotten a slipcover for the couch. green was cool at the time, but i'm going for a more neutral color scheme for our place so i got this twill slipcover in Milkshake from Target.
bad: i fell asleep on the couch last night (i've been doing that all week, bad bad bad) and today when i looked at the couch there was an Apple's head-sized purple stain in the middle of the cushion!
good: my friends from Clorox recently gave me a can of Armor All Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner (yes, for your car), formerly known as Tuff Stuff multi-purpose foam cleaner. I could have chosen between this, Nature's Miracle (for organic stains and odors, usually created by pets), and Tide detergent/Clorox color-safe bleach. I tried the upholstery cleaner. My purple dye stains everything and this dye had set in the fibers for 12 hours (only needs 15 minutes to stain my hair). Somehow, this stuff really worked!!!!
