the down side of a laptop is once you fuck up the keyboard it doesnt seem like theres a lot you can do about it. really i can spell, but the 'h' and the 'n' dont really work like the did in their youth....
i've heard a couple times now, straight from the ever-reliable toronto rumor mill that i am in fact pregnant. this is confusing to me for many reasons, namely my lack of shagging people who make sperm and my bodys outpouring of blood, but really, when has the toronto rumor mill ever been wrong before?! according to jake, its due to someone in toronto named kelly being pregnant. as pregnancy is indeed passed along through first names i can see how this information has been spread. thankfully, my parents had the foresight to spell my name 'kellee' which i suppose explains my lack of 14000 spawn. jake incidentally became a dad a couple weeks ago and i am positivly writhing with anticipation of meeting lil beto. could someone please send me a picture? this is thrilling because not only is jake in my top five favorite people in the universe, and hello! e had a baby!!!!!, but also it makes me excited that beto and my baby (which will be conceived after the next kellee in the list conceives of course) will get to shit talk their weird parents and how we screwed them up by having a 'mom' and 'dad' and a sperm donor to boot.
the new house is shaping up. moving party on saturday. the mold in the old house has officially renederd my incredibly ill again so i cant actually lift anything. so please help! ill buy you pizza and beer. i cannot wait to move. i have developed an incredibly vindictive plan whereas im calling a city inspector to this house after we move out to try to get it condemed. take that land scrub! we'll have a new phone number. i cant be bothered to go find it, but it starts with 221 - 2 somethingsometingsometing. so call me. ok?
i started to work 'bigside' at work last week, which is confusing because its actually the lower numbered beds, and confusing because everyone is incredibly sick and im supposed to know how to take care of them, scary. but i feel quite proud of myself. like im working my way up and getting all smart and stuff. the best part of all of this is i now get to not be shunted into 'small side' or te observation area, where youre required to start, and where you only see your patients who are often crazy, for hours at a time. now i get to socialize with a wide variety of emergency personell. i had to go for training at our new building last week, and whilst it is pretty and everything, its going to be a complete logistical nightmare. i feel a flu bug coming on the first week of march.
im pretty jelous of all you fabulos winnipeggers getting out and doing fun things. all i do is work and feel sick. i picked up a bunch of overtime, then i got my but kicked by some sort of bronchitis for a couple of weeks and im still getting it back together. but when i do, watch out! i also discovered with my last two paychecks that i dont actually get paid time and a half for overtime, since im part time, thus cancelling any incentive for me to pick up extra shifts.
uh thats all i got. my new adress is 624 alexander ave, winner-peg, manitoba - theres a postal code tho...uh r3a 0n8. so all of you not coming to the house warming party, date to be announced, please feel obliged to send potted plants and brownies.
