On fencing and otherwise

So the Geoff Elder tournament happened.
Management-wise, it could've been worse (especially considering the club's condition), but my fencing could've been better. Not as many people came as I had hoped, but that was to be expected. I fenced all right - the high point being my pool bouts in the open - but I wasn't feeling very competitive (which is sadly normal). Trip prevented me getting my D yet again. Same old, same old.

The best part of the weekend was hanging out with friends. (Most of) My teammates are amazing. Good times.

As always, there seems to be a disconnect between what I'm thinking and what I'm saying. It complicates things that are already complicated enough. Damn my youth-ish-ness.

Anyways, next weekend should be a lot of fun. I haven't been to the beach in forever, and I haven't traveled to a tournament in even longer. Shout out to whoever's going! *cue my dance of happiness*

Finally, one month and a day.
That is all.
