Apparently i forgot that i had a livejournal. Or perhaps i just didnt feel like writing in an empty space to an empty friends list. lifejournal is so last season.
anyways.
i got a job. finally. i started at parkshore golf club (longest 9 holes in ontario!) whenever it was. i do the maintenance stuff so im outside ALL day! its got its good times and sucky times.
+ my boss (the guy who hired me, not the "owner" of the place) is CHILL.
+ i work outside
+ im mostly on my own
+ im awesome at it
- no one to really talk to
- lots of creepy old men
- 6:22 (only jon my father and mother will understand this)
+ newest guy
- im the only girl
+ im the only girl
- rain
+ sun
- constant bruises
+ i drive in a golf cart for most of my day getting mad air on the hills and bumps
- 5AM
i'd like to find another part-part time job just so that i can work my way up and get myself something good for when summer is over and i go back to school and the golf course closes for the winter. but i really dont see how i could handle it. i wake up at 5am to get to work for 6 and work until 230. when i get home im exhausted so i sometimes nap. i go to bed at 10 and i still am tired in the morning. another job might make me an insomniac.
i also got a pool! its not like, anything SUPER amazing. its not an in-ground olympic sized pool complete with diving board and wave pool. its a pool that i can sit in and relax and cool off in. we ended up having to pour it out once though since the ground slopped (sp?) on one side which made it uneven which made one side too full and one not very full at all. however my dad was awesome about it and took a bunch of bricks out of the deck and leveled it all out for me so we started again and its all done! its amazing. best dad ever. now when i get home from work and im hot and sweaty from working outside in the hot sun all day working on my fab tab, i can take a dip in my pool!
