(no subject)
I am in germany...and what can I say the beer is great...I have to admit that I began drinking at 10:30, because well it is cheap and you can pretty much do it everywhere...on the train...walking down the street...etc...it is so weird to me but I love it....
I spent the day on a free walking tour with this really wicked guide...saw where Hitler took dictatorship of Germany, where he killed himself...where the Nazi#s burned the books....the Berlin wall...and a bunch more stuff...I ended up spending the tour with this cool American from Texas named Andres...was pretty great...then I wandered around myself...ate some yummy pastries...and some deep fried meat stuff that was super good...and then did I mention more beer...not that I have been drunk...just pleasantly chilled all day....but I spent so much time walking around that I didn't really get to much sketching...there is always tomorrow...I am planning to hit up the main galleries...should be amazing....there is a bust of Nefertiti's head in one....and I just read this historical ficiton about her....so I am really excited....but I am running out of time yet again...will write soon
