We, as american consumers, have grown increasingly lazy. I thougth about it when I was in the bathroom. How lazy are we? I will tell you:
1. We have toilets that flush themselves, heaven forbid we pull on a shinny metal handle.
2. We have soap that foams itself. You know, that dial kind that is liquid in the bottle but comes out foam so you don't have to rub it to produce a "healthy lather"
3. Our hands are dried with air jets, so we don't have to pull towels out of a metal locker with a whole in the bottom and rub the paper between our hands.
What happened to the days when we wiped out asses with banana leaves, and had to actually work to clean out hands and dry them.
PS. I woke up coughing blood this morning.
