(no subject)
It has been so cold this whole week here in Lawrence, Kansas. I can't even make it across the KU campus without stopping in a random building to thaw my frozen flesh. And the good news...it is supposed to snow about 8" on Sunday night so there is a chance that school would be cancelled. Ku does not cancel school that often...they had to one time last year when there was a really bad ice storm that moved through, but two years in a row?! That is unheard of! It seems to me that we have been gatting more snow this year than in past years. It has already snowed on about 8 days during this winter and I would estimate that we have had an accumualtive snow fall this year of approximately 4-5". The snow that has been on the ground here for the past week, is really more ice than anything. I have to practically skate down Daisy Hill just to make it to class. Luckily, I haven't fallen yet though.
