I don't feel like dancing.....
Ok. So I'm leaving tomorrow for Egypt to do archaeology for a month.
I got a job as a Multicultural Advocate in Oglesby Hall in F.A.R. (a dorm very very FAR from Snyder, where I live now) for NEXT SEMESTER (eek!). Basically, an MA is kina like an RA, but there's only one per dorm, and we do soley "multicultural programming" and "enforce social justice" (what a funny visual THAT is, eh?). I'm not gonna lie, I'm really really going to miss Snyder, and it's a little intimidating to move to a new dorm mid-year (where I know zero people- literally).
So yeah, this past week has been kind of crazy between five finals, Dial-A-Carol (which ROCKED LIKE NO ONE'S BUSINESS... over 2,000 calls from EUROPE ALONE! And calls from all but like 6 U.S. States! I was on the radio in France!), figuring out moving to FAR and all the stuff involved with MA, and lots and lots of last-minute Egypt stuff. Whew!
I went to Barnes & Noble today to buy the Sufjan Stevens Songs for Christmas boxed set. The music manager said that we are sold out EVERYWHERE and we can't get them in for a long time and that even he doesn't have one yet. I'm very disappointed and have a sneaking suspicion that Andy is actually hoarding them all to himself. Every copy left in the country.
I am going to really really really miss everyone over break... know that I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
