ABC needs to be SHOT!
GAHHH! I just read some of the upfronts for ABC. I cannot believe that they are putting Alias on Thursday nights! In the same time slot as Survivor when it comes back on! That is freakin suicide! They might as well not even bother airing it if they are going to do that. No matter what Alias does, it will never win over Survivor!! GAHHH! WTF are you people THINKING!!! Just leave it alone dammit! It was doing great on Wednesdays....best ratings ever, thanks to Lost and now they want to fuck it over by putting it on Thursday???? They are giving that show NO respect! How do they even expect it to compete with Survivor?? What they should have done...
Wednesday 7-8 Life with brian (New JJ show w/ Barry Watson), 8-9 Lost, and 9-10 Alias. C'mon people! LETS PUT SOME FUCKING THOUGHT INTO IT!!
So it will air before this new supernatural drama (whatever...:P) So it doesn't even get a kick ass lead in. WHY!!?? Ugh....upsetting. Lets hope that between now and fall they get their heads outa the ground and realize what a dumb freakin mistake that is. This is what networks do to good shows. First they ship them around to different nights and time slots...then they start talking about cancelling, forcing the producers to shop around to other networks...causing big beefs, causing the network to get huffy, the writers to get pissy and write shit just to piss them off (a la Angel) and then the show gets canned. All thanks to the first dumbass move of changing the night it is on...the time. People want familiarity right? Like with Friends - It was always on Thursdays, same time, same place, every season and that show had super ratings. Sure it was an excellent show, but also thanks to it continuing to be in one spot. You could come home and have one thing to count on...that Friends is always on Thursday. No one had to guess and remember what night and what time their show would be on. People lose faith in the show and thats when it gets the boot. Used to be Sunday...I could come home after a crappy day at work and kick into high gear with Alias. Always...without question.I am seriously having issues with these networks. Maybe, NBC should give them lessons....because I think for the most part all of their primetime shows have stayed on the same nights and times...ER....Will and Grace...yeah, for the most part. And look how well their shows do! Then look at ABC.....a bunch of mumble jumble just thrown into a pot and stirred around every few months. Look at CBS...Survivor...major hit, always on Thursdays at 8/7c. The shows on other networks don't even get a chance to be a runaway success!! I could never deal with network beuracracy shit if I had a TV show because honestly I couldn't keep my cool...I'd have to run someone over.
Now I realize that I have no life if I can get this pissed of with a network. Honestly though...it's just not cool. BTW, I do have a life...promise. It just happens to be interrupted by a few shows that I will watch religiously forever and for always (until they are no longer on).

OOO Star Wars tommorow night!! WOOT WOOT! (Don't tell Jack, but I am almost more excited for the 2 hour alias hehe) Star Wars is gonna kick major ass!! Standing in line for 2 hours won't be, but it will be worth it. *nods*
