I can't believe anyone even remembers that..even more unbelievable is that it's already been an entire year since I posted that recipe.

It's a great cake though, and I hope you and yours enjoy it. May want to save the self-loathing for another day, however. :)

It has very nearly been a year. Where does the time go? I remembered it as it was a great recipe. Critique is tomorrow for painting and I wanted to bring something good.

I bake when I'm stressed, so I save recipes.

I tell you, time has been flying. Even though a lot's happened since then, it really has been kind of a blur.

But yeah, the cake's a very seasonal thing, and with the leaves turning and such it's oh-so-appropos right now. :)

This week the local owner of MacResQ said they were stupid to move it all to CA, and we all got together to have a meeting to see who's in and who's out when they bring it back here in the next few weeks. I may get my old job back!

Oh... the insurance! THAT will be nice again, and I'm glad to have a purpose once more.

I may get to fly to CA to pack it all up... and to drive 45 minutes or so away to get another Apple logo onesie for the other kid!
