Lisa wins the prize for most interesting journal in the world. I mean, that kid like, does stuff... every day! I however, do not. :\
I should be reading sociology, but I'm not. Story of my life, really. Ahh well.
Celebrating Parent's birthday tomorrow. They have it on the same day, and Dad's turning 50, but he has no interests, so we didn't know what to get him. Mom and Mo bought him shirts and other random crap, while I bought him two Western movies. I bought mom a cool necklace.
I also bought Virtua Fighter 4:Evo, as VF4's a surprisingly quality game. I mean, I remember playing VF1 back in the day in the arcade, when it was all blocky and barely resembling human shapes, and Pai was like, the woman, just because she could pull off a quick three-punch into a spinny kick that could go high and low. Then, she was the woman, 'cause I found out she could do high and low counters that looked suspiciously like regular punches, but were really throws. Lazy-ass programmers. Ahh, the good ol' days. ^_^
Also, because I'm a massive tool, and because Carlos now seems to be my fashion guru, I bought some black bondage pants with red trim. I'd whip up a link, but I'm too lazy. Ironically, the Japanese were wearing these things approx 9 years ago? Way to keep in touch, America.
Not much else to say. Yawn. I'm tryin to download a copy of Halo, and I'd love it if someone could hook me up with an iso of Max Payne, so as to make with the nostalgia. ^_^ The sequel's coming out, you know! Whee!!
What a boring life I lead. Honestly, just being out of high school has made me quite a better person. I may be missing some sort of cause to this bizarre effect, but I'm not feeling half as depressed as I usually did back then. If you're feelin bad right now, and you're still in high school, you may become a much happier person in less than a year. Oh well, I don't know if there was a point to that paragraph, but things are looking good, yeah?
Also, I was listening to Jane's Addiction in the car. It's tragic that such a good band was ruined by such an awful Brit. Damn you, Perry Ferrell. Some of the songs are really good, whereas others sound like they were written for schoolhouse rock, or some shit. Like, "Standing in the Shower Thinking?" there's a verse: ".... And the water is so fucking hot!/and the water is so fucking hoooot!" Anyone else impressed by the sheer fucking talent my good friend Ferrell has in his songwriting? Thanks for that temperature update, you fucking dork. Dave Navarro's the Guitarist, BTW, who is getting married to Carmen Electra, which is a needless tangent. Regardless, he, I must say, is the freakin man. I recommend you listen to his work, and then quickly run to your nearest music retailer and frantically lick full-length posters featuring the man himself. He's that cool.
